we saw a nice samba show near the swimming pool with great dancers !

in one of the most beautiful beaches in the city of Rio with a length  of 24 kms on a summer day I
went with my family my  mother, sisters and niece to have lunch at one of the kiosks located on the beach front .

I was invited by my older sister last  weekend on a sunny day and  we hvae  decided to enjoy the beach and the sun we also had one of our favorite dishes of seafood .

Yummy !!!!!  l´that was delicious ! finally comes our plate of grilled seafood simply lovely, a delight! we were all satisfied with the dish and ate so much , lol .

this adorable  lady is my mom she has  eighty-one years old she still looks beaufiful  and she is always positive about life, she accompanies us in all events that we go , she is  a lady beyond  her time she has always a kind word  for her  daughters, love you mom!

my niece loves photography like me and she was searching for the best  angles to take pcitures of the beach  and of her aunts and grandmother , wonderful pictures, thank you darling  , I love you!

when you visit Rio probrably I will take you to a open flea market that happens every first saturday of the month in downtown Rio you will see there  an antique fair at Lavradio street this open flea Market is part of my tours when you are there you feel that you returned to the past because they sell a bit of everything

in Brazil we have a lot of the African influence on the art of carving so there you will find animals in wood similar to the ones you find in Africa

while you walk through the Lavradio street you see old buildings dated from the XIX centtury most of them are being restored by the city council

when you are there  it´s interesting to stop at one of many bars and restaurants where you can enjoy the  snacks and listen to and authentic brazilian samba music

this flea market is near the Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro that was inaugurated in 1976 after 12 years of construction  you cannot miss a visit to this church it´s dedicated to San Sebastian the patron of the city and consists of an enormous cone, complete with four beautiful stained-glass windows the cathedral interior is spacious, with enough room to fit over 20,000 people inside, and is home to many paintings, sculptures and murals which were completed by local artists .

located in the southern zone of Rio the Copacabana beach it's one of the most popular beaches in the world has 4 kms of extension and have  it's anniversary of 120 years ,  most of my guests that visit Rio stay in this neighborhood , the beach is nice , there are lots of kiosks along the way , the beach is very crowded and with some benefits for example  if you order a coconut water or caipirinha ( made with cachaça , sugar and lemon ) and  a fried fish you will have a waiter bringing it to you , in the beaches of Rio  you don´t need to pay to use it  the beaches are free and you can drink no problem , here we have some young man making sculputures with the sand they build nice girls with bikini or  the statue of Christ sometimes  mountains ,  you can pose in  front of these sculptures leaving a few coins to  them .

when you visit Rio I´ll take you to drink a coconut water in copacabana beach or anyother beaches here you can choose where also you will  find many restaurants some of them very good with the specialty in seafood or meat , the best hotels are located in front of the beach we have 5 stars hotels and a  few blocks down the street we have the smaller hotels with 3 or 4 stars ,  here you can find anything you need during your stay  as pharmacies, supermarkets , bakeries , grocery stores , shops , exchange bureaux  you name it .

if you arrive early at the beach  you can see people jogging , mothers with the babies , people walking  , cycling , some of the people just want  to relax sitting on a chair in front of the beach and others just want  to get a suntan , it´s a good place to relax and read a good book .

if you decide to stay in Ipanema , Santa Teresa , Leblon , Barra da Tijuca or any other area  of Rio you can always visit copacabana beach , Ipanema is just 20 minute walking and leblon it´s a little bit further but you can easily arrive there .

the fort of copacabana it´s located are the very beggining of copacabana beach so if you are there you can always visit the fort it´s interesting it was built in the 1914´s to defend our city and in  the fort you can have a colonial breakfast at Confeitaria ( bakery ) Colombo you will drink a nice coffee with cookies  with a nice view of the  beach also you can see the Sugar Loaf mountain and all the extension of the beach or simply the sunset from the fort .

near the fort you will see the fisherman and their boats they leave early in the morning to the open sea to grab some fish and they sell the fish on a fishmarket just down the corner but arrive early to buy the fish .

every day in the  morning the fisherman sew  their nets that are cut  when they pull to see if  they got some fish on that day .

across the copacabana beach in the very end there is a small beach called Leme beach this neighborhood is very small but nice ,  if you go there you can see the fisherman near the rock fishing on a lazy day also there are few kiosks there to sit and relax .

when I´m on a tour or during the week I take few hours just to walk there to see this  beauty .

When you visit Rio you will taste  all kinds of tropical  fruits we have the most delicious fruits on this universe an when I receive my guests  they always want to try the our coconut water  we drink the  coconut water everywhere in Rio specialy in front of the beaches , in downtown , at the Parks you name it !

Sugar Loaf the world´s best known attraction in Rio when you visit the attraction  the ride goes from Praia Vermelha ( red beach ) to the Urca mountain and from Urca mountain to Sugar Loaf , you go on a cable car and the ride takes just 3 minutes ,  during the tour you will have a breathtaking view of the  city with the beaches of botafogo and  Flamengo and you will see from distance the  Christ the Redeemer .

there is a boardwalk that you can take pictures of the red  beach

that´s the red beach  with the view of   Sugar Loaf  mountain  this picture was taken this last  sunday late in the day .

Every year Rio de Janeiro gets on the mood of the Carnival party and you´re welcome to join us in this unique event in our city

the party takes places in all of the streets of Rio and people have so much fun ! everyone dresses funny fantasies and they go to the streets on a week of party that we have in  each neighborhood of Rio .

and of course my guests  love to take  pictures with

                                                      these stunning costumes .

Cruise ships dock across the Pier Mauá in Rio  just few blocks from  downtown the bussiness district area of the city  and  changes will also be made at the Port, whose area will be completely refurbished and re-urbanized preparing for the Olymnpic games in 2016 and I´ll be always waiting for you with open arm to show  my beautiful city with its charm and picturesque places with an enviable culinary we will go to the main touristic  attractions  also  away from the city to see nature , waterfalls , islands and beautiful mountains .

but in high season I always get several customers that arrive by airplane or by ship in our city wanting to know more about our culture and always eager for new discoveries and this is the main reason we like to travel ins´t it ? we always want to have a better knowledge of the place where we are visiting and about the local people living there so for this reason that I am here to show you all that

when you are navegating in the brazilian waters you will see a sunset like this the picture was taken the other day on Ipanema beach at 7pm I think when you´re at the ship you´ll be closer to this beautiful sunset
