SUGAR LOAF , GIGÓIA ISLAND , TIJUCA FOREST PARK WITH ANASTACIA





Sugar Loaf is one the most visited tour attraction in Rio de Janeiro from  the cable car you can see a wonderful view it was inaugurated on 27 October  1912 has became a trade mark of the city in all those years the cable car has received personalities  from all over the world like Einstein in 1925 , John Kennedy , actors like Roger Moore , Brook Shields , Gina Lollobrigida and others .
Augusto Ferreira Ramos imagined an aerial way to the Sugar Loaf in 1908 and in 1910 the construction of the first Brazilian cable car was iniciated now in 2009 the company decided to install a new and modern cable car holding 75 passengers
Adeulina enjoyed a lot our full day tour starting  at Sugar Loaf



the climbers choose this  Mountain to enjoy the view of Guanabara Bay and the Yach Club



After Sugar Loaf  we went to the Cascatinha on Tijuca Forest Park  to see the great waterfall with fresh water

CHRIST REDEEMER AND NITERÓI WITH ISIORENE BERNARDINO AND HER FAMILY

The Statue of Christ the Redeemer is located on top of Corcovado Mountain at a hight of 710 meters and it is the most visited touristic attraction in Rio de Janeiro , the Statue was built in 1931 and it is the image of the carioca faith

Home to hundreds of species of plants and wildlife, found only in the Atlantic Rainforest, this is Rio's urban forest replanted by man and spread by natural ecological development, which covers some 3,200 hectares. Its historical attractions and enchanting nooks are well worth a leisurely visit. Just a short drive from the financial center downtown, the North Zone and Rio's smart beach districts, its attractions include the Cascatinha Waterfallll, the Mayrink Veiga Chapel all favorite destinations for weekend family outings.The Tijuca Forest was reforested in the middle of the 19 Century after years of intense deforesting and planting (specially coffee plantations).The replanting was a pioneer initiative in all Latin America.

This is one of the fountain that you can find inside the park and can drink water of good quality that comes from the waterfalls




The Tijuca Forest it´s one of the largest Urban National Parks in the world with many species of plants and trees and wildlife





The charming litlle Mayrink Veiga Chapel is known by the brazilian´s Rio society for the sophisticated weddings and it is situated inside the Park



Á Mineira is one of the best Restaurants of all you eat that we have in Niterói , there you can find food from the South of Brazil and has all kinds of different foods for the most discerning palates and they loved to eat there

THE FLORESTA DA TIJUCA PARK

Tijuca forest in the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro it is one of the biggest Urban Forest in the world covering 3.200 hectare it harbored a large indigenous population untill the 16th century the original florest was destroyed to make way for coffee farmers on the second half of the 19th century later on it was replanted to protect the Rio water supply because in the middle of the rivers of the city or Rio were drying up



The guard at the entrance gave us many rules about the Park and how to behave with the little animals and how to do the track up to Pico da Tijuca














Eduardo it´s experienced in Mountains so he went to the Pico da Tijuca ,with the girls it´s about 1 hour walk till the top you need to have lots of water , a backpaker on your shoulders , sunscreen , sunblock and a repelent then you are ready to go























The monkey is watching Jackie from the top of the pole and she was looking at the other ones around














When the girls contact me for some adventure they never imagine how fun it was going to be !!!!!!!!!! we saw on our way up some species of Nail Monkey ( Macaco Prego )

Many species of little animals like the ` Guati ´ are seen at the Forest crossing our way



                            It´s amazing how they are so sweet with us and very curious

FORT SANTA CRUZ




I WAS HONORED TO TOUR WITH GREAT AMERICANS FROM CALIFORNIA , THEY HAD ONE DAY TO SPEND IN RIO DE JANEIO I PICK THEM AT THE HOTEL AND WE DID A FULL DAY TOUR TO TIJUCA FOREST THEN TO THE FORT SANTA CRUZ AND NATIONAL PARK WAS FUN , THEY ENJOYED A LOT THEIR TOUR AND HERE IS THE PICTURE OF THE DAY !
